„BLACK DIAMOND” is sculpture and furniture in one. It is the result of a collaboration between Lapàporter, the designer duo Chris & Ruby and the mosaic artist Minola.

For the first time the Lapàporter collection has been presented to the english Press in London on 11 and 12 April during the press days of Task PR. Task PR was founded in 2010 by Tamara Kretzer and Andre Schlagowski two germans how have been living and working in London for many years. I’m looking forward to our future cooperation.

Limited Edition No.2

To set the mood for the Christmas season and to match the appearance of the new iPhone 4S Ilka Brand presents the second limited edition of iPhone cases. The collection is inspired by paintings of Mark Rothko and its large color combinations. Among the collection are four iPhone cases with the titles ”Mandarin and Fuchsia”, ”Nude and Blue,” ”Blue and Mandarin” and “Fuchsia and Blue”. Contrasting colours in fine lambs leather face each other in a peaceful form. The colour deviding seam is accentuated with a classic stitching.

Two iPhone cases with a bow complement the Ballerina collection and pick up the bright colors. The cases cost 69 €, there are 50 pieces per color combination. The number of the individual bag is hand-embroidered with a golden thread in the lining.

Shooting Collection 2011

In March 2011, a photo shoot for the new catalog stood on the agenda. The pictures were taken at various venues in Berlin. Two dear friends Martha and Iris provided their lovely home as location.

More pictures were taken in collaboration with Julia Rust, Managing Director of “Me Collectors Room” . The great exhibition hall provided the perfect setting for the iPhone and laptop sleeves.

Also, roads and places of Berlin served as the inspiration for the photos
